Production & Backstage

Calling all future orthopaedic surgeons – why not get a jump start on your practical skills and join the Production team?  Have fun using all kinds for drills, saws and any tool you can imagine helping design and build the sets required by the show. Alternatively, you can join the Backstage team to set and strike props, help manage the cast side stage and work with the lighting and sound. Basically, you’ll be responsible for making sure the show runs smoothly during showtime. No experience is necessary – acceptance into the Production and Backstage team is based on enthusiasm, attitude and commitment.

Time Commitment:  From May, the production team will usually meet once a fortnight to plan, purchase and build sets. As we get closer to the show, the time commitment will increase, and during rehearsal week and showtime 100% attendance is required.

If you’re interested in being part of the 2018 Production and Backstage team, keep an eye out on the Med Revue website and Facebook page later in the year, where sign-ups will be posted around early May.
